On paper, signs of Fury seems to have all the ingredients of a classic old school Hong Kong action with Jet Li playing the rookie partner Wen Zhang gray as they tore around Hong Kong after a prolific serial killer. The cast boasts a number of proven martial arts stars including Wu Jing, Collin Chou and Bruce Leung, screen sharing, a number of occurrences of hot young talent like Huang Xiaoming, Stephen Fung and Tong Dawei, while first Director Wong Tsz Ming is ably supported by action director Corey Yuen revered in Film Badges Of Fury (2013).

Unfortunately, instead of being a high-octane cop thriller, Film Badges Of Fury (2013) is primarily a comedy - incredibly broad one, which - following the young investigator Wang Zhang Wen Bu Er he gurns and pratfalls his way through a multiple murder case. Once victims are all identified as ex-lovers aspiring actress Liu Jin Shiu (Liu Shishi), suspicion soon falls on her voluptuous, predatory sister, Dai Yi Yi (Liu Yan). It is not a curse, poison darts jealous lovers, but a large part of which is covered by Wang incessantly flirting with both sisters and his new commander, Angela (Michelle Chen). Every Update on Film.
